BBC Sport
The British Broadcasting Corporation or the BBC, as it is better known, provides comprehensive sports coverage. You can get BBC’s sports news through either a WAP browser or an ordinary browser on your mobile. There is a special cricket results page and if you have an interest in soccer, cricket or rugby you can also get a news services that is focused on your favourite club.
WHO WOULD USE IT?
These BBC Sports pages are sites to delight any sports fan or, at least, any sports fan interested in UK sport. While BBC Sports does cover international events like the Olympics or the World Cup, the coverage is focused on the areas of most interest for UK fans.
WALK THROUGH
The easiest way to get set up is to send a text message to the BBC SMS number 81010. For general sports include the word `sport’. For soccer, rugby, cricket or rugby league include `My Club’ followed by the name of your favourite club (EG `My Club Tottenham Hotspur’).
The BBC will send back a link to the site which you can then bookmark and access whenever you want to.
